Italian genista pink

The genista, a typical plant of the Mediterranean scrub, is a roundish shrub with slender, flexible dark green or brown stems. One of its characteristics is the almost total absence of leaves because they fall as soon as the flowers appear. It has a long flowering period from spring to late summer. The flowers are gorgeous, once bloomed, resemble butterflies with spread wings, the classic color is bright golden yellow, they also vary in white, pink and purple. It is widely used as a cut flower in combination with other flowers and leaves, it brings cheerfulness and liveliness to floral decorations.
